The Foundation's first preferred approach to fulfill its mission is to create a unique IP multimedia database, which will update, recognised or on the way to be sustainable development, solutions, applicable in the short term for the attainment of the Kyoto Protocol objectives. Data collection constitutes the starting point for all initiatives. This data collection will be incorporated in Search Engines designed like a "Google One Stop" on environment under the Kyoto Protocol umbrella. This tool will serve as a unique window on the world and will be a place for exchange and for privileged information while gaining access to knowledge on services, sustainable development and ecological products and technology for all environmentalists. Because of its diversified content, this site will attract particularly individuals in the business fields wanting to do some research or simply to get familiar with long lasting solutions that respect the different challenges Kyoto brings for protecting the environment. With the power of the Internet, the possibilities are endless. The Foundation's second preferred approach to fulfill its mission is to hold an annual Planeterra Kyoto Gala/Concert to permit to different environmentalists to meet and promote their work. In addition, funds permitting, we would like to distribute ThinkPad or
ThinkCenter work units, including software and accessories, to the different
representatives of participating countries. This tool can serve as a vehicle
for the development of the network and become a precious asset for organising
promotional and informative events. This web site will consist of an educational
content supported by the ITC, including a public debate and other actions
such as the Planeterra Kyoto Gala/Concert, CD, cartoon books, concurs
and quiz, brought forward by the Foundation to achieve its goals.
